made dis fruit platta for a picnic todai yall.. even tho its raininnnnnn. theres some blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, apples, kiwi, watermelon, some mango slices sprinkled in there and some strawberries. some of which are dipped in chocolate :3 im also gonna make some chocolate chip cookie brownie bars wooooooooooh! on another note, feelin kinda weird.. that feeling like im missing out on shit or something.. ?!?! idk. bothers me. strange, deep unknown feeling.. i think i need to start meditating. pronto. i feel like i say that all the time…

le jardin is goin swell yall.

collards are doin good, just planted some basil seeds near those fellas as they help to repel some pesky critter guys…

just transplanted my tomato seedlings into the ground as well as the hot pepper plants my grandfather gave me. still waiting for my own to get big enough to put in the ground. planted some other basil guys that we grew in the greenhouse in my horticulture class next to the tomatz and peppz, again for pest control. also i planted a couple of marigolds amongst the tomatoes. i believe they encourage healthier growth of each other when planted closely. hooray for companion planting!

bought some mint plants from halas farm and planted one next to some beets and the other inbetween my collards and kale.

just sowed some catnip, cukes, and sunflowers (which im soooooooooo fired up about!) scattered them next to my pumpkins and squash plants. speaking of which i need to rig up a fence type deal and get those guys to reach for the sky as they are very rampant fellows!

oh and i also planted a dahlia plant to attract bees and other friendly pollinators. i really want to plant my poppy seeds but they dont actually bloom flowers for a year… plus i dont know exactly where i want to put them since theyre perennials and will return year after year.

id really like some berry bushes too.

i cant wait to start harvesting and preserving all this stuff!!!! im gonna test my skills out with some canning and a whole shit ton of other methods to make these goods last.

my back got SO burnt on wednesday from shoveling and being bent over for hours ahhaha. dang nabbit! i gotta even it out somehow…

I LOVE THAT THE WORK/PROJECTS NEVER END!
